The Rod
The “skeleton” and backbone of a fishing rod. The rod is what is used to launch out your bait feet out into the water
Reel
The reel is used to hold the line in a spiral spool in order to not limit your distance
Complete set
As a beginner, we recommend that buy a complete set instead of building your first fishing rod.
Line
The line is used as a connection between you and the fish. There are many different types of lines. The most common are monofilament, braided, and fluorocarbon line.
Bait
There are many different types of baits to choose from, but as a beginner we recommend to use plastic worms, plastic swimbaits, and top water frogs.
